Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the relationship between team digo (the “Company”) and users (“you”) regarding the rights, obligations, and responsibilities related to the use of digo (the “Service”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service” refers to digo, the travel information sharing and community platform provided by the Company.
- “User” refers to a person who registers and uses the Service.
- “Content” refers to all information posted by users within the Service, including text, photos, and videos.
Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)
- These Terms become effective when announced within the Service or when otherwise notified to users.
- The Company may modify these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws, and shall provide notice at least 7 days prior to the effective date of any changes.
- Users who do not agree to the modified Terms may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw their membership.
Article 4 (Membership and Account)
- Users apply for membership by entering required information and agreeing to these Terms.
- Users must provide accurate information; users are responsible for any disadvantages arising from false information.
- Users are responsible for managing their account information securely and may not transfer or share it with third parties.
Article 5 (Provision of Service)
The Company provides the following services:
- Travel experience sharing (Stories, Lounge)
- Place exploration by city (City Guide)
- Travel itinerary planning
- User communication and follow
- Other services additionally provided by the Company
Article 6 (Modification and Suspension of Service)
- The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service due to operational or technical needs.
- The Company shall notify users in advance when suspending the Service. However, in cases beyond the Company’s control, post-notice may apply.
Article 7 (User Obligations)
Users must not engage in the following actions:
- Collecting or misusing others’ personal information without authorization
- Posting false information or deceiving others
- Posting obscene, violent, hateful, or discriminatory content
- Disparaging or harassing specific individuals or groups
- Distributing advertisements, spam, or malicious code
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
- Infringing on others’ intellectual property rights
- Violating applicable laws and regulations
Article 8 (Rights and Responsibilities for Content)
- Copyright of content posted by users belongs to the respective user.
- By posting content, users grant the Company a non-exclusive license to use the content for service operation, improvement, and promotion purposes.
- If the Company determines that user-posted content violates Article 7, it may delete or hide the content without prior notice.
- Legal responsibility for content posted by users lies with the respective user.
- Users may attach images when proposing places, and such images will be reflected after Company review.
- Images attached to user-created My Places are exposed to companions without prior Company review. All legal responsibility for such images lies with the posting user, and posting images that violate applicable laws (such as obscene or violent content) may result in legal punishment.
- The Company is not obligated to pre-review images attached to My Places and is not responsible for any disputes or legal issues arising from such content.
Article 9 (Account Termination and Restrictions)
- Users may terminate their account at any time through in-app settings or customer support.
- If a user violates Article 7, the Company may take measures including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension. Depending on severity, immediate permanent suspension may occur without prior warning.
- Upon account termination, user content is deleted and cannot be recovered. However, information required to be retained under applicable laws shall be kept for the legal period.
Article 10 (Safety Measures for User-Generated Content)
The following safety measures are operated to ensure a safe environment for users:
- ReportingUsers may report inappropriate content or accounts via the in-app reporting feature. The Company will review reports and take necessary action.
- BlockingUsers may block specific accounts to prevent unwanted interactions. Content from blocked accounts is immediately removed from feeds, and the action is recorded by the Company.
- Content ModerationThe Company monitors content that violates Article 7 and may delete violating content or impose usage restrictions on the relevant account.
Article 11 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of content posted by users.
- The Company is not obligated to intervene in disputes between users.
- The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters or server failures.
- The Company is not responsible for travel-related decisions users make based on information within the Service.
- The Company is not responsible for content that has not undergone prior Company review, such as images posted via the My Places feature.
Article 12 (Privacy)
Matters related to the processing of user personal information are governed by a separate Privacy Policy.
Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Disputes related to the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company’s headquarters.
